Shameless Attractions: A Second Flush

The striking visual craft of Francesca Bonci (Collin Hegna, The Dandy Warhols, Pete International Airport, Rachel Goswell, Tombstones In Their Eyes) also graces and gives another aspect to the new single from alternative rock trio DEARDARKHEAD. Taken from their increasingly acclaimed new album The Pendulum Swings, with our high praise among that vocal crowd, In Another Life is an instrumental track that offers up rich melodic suggestiveness but equally creates a palette for the imagination to weave its own interpretation.

As the album, the single is released through the New Jersey band’s own imprint Fertile Crescent Records, and presents a canvas of rock flavours and styles while continually bring new twists to its suggestion proposal. From the greed fuelling rhythmic predation of the track to the melodic steeliness of its guitars, In Another Life is a fertile playground for thought and involvement but equally it is just simply a piece of music to dance away to.
